Loft Mounted Positive Input Ventilation Unit

Loft mounted whole-house Positive Input Ventilation unit designed to introduce fresh, clean and filtered air into the dwelling. This dilutes, displaces and replaces internal stale, contaminated, humid air. Suitable for floor or ceiling installation, in any position.

The PIV ONE positive input ventilation system provides fresh, high-quality filtered air; effectively dealing with condensation issues and diluting harmful pathogens. Installation is easy and it’s also incredibly cost-effective.

This advanced system operates continuously to maintain a fresh and healthy indoor environment. When the humidity threshold is detected, the fan automatically boosts its speed, effectively reducing excess moisture and preventing condensation build-up. This intelligent feature ensures optimal air quality, minimises the risk of mould and mildew growth and promotes a comfortable living space.

    • Internal ISO Coarse 60% (G4) filter as standard, removes dust, mould spores and general pollutants.
    • For high-traffic areas, this can be upgraded to an IAQ filter to remove diesel fumes.
  • Discreet ceiling diffuser with adjustable blanking plates allows the airflow to be directed as needed.

Specification

  • Galvanised sheet steel casing, powder-coated in white (RAL 9010).
  • Durable, solid ABS plastic top cover.
  • The unit is designed for continuous running with a highly efficient EC motor which has integral thermal protection, is mounted on sealed-for-life ball bearings and anti-vibration supports.
  • Forward curved centrifugal impeller is dynamically balanced and directly driven by the motor to provide a smooth airflow through the unit.
  • The top cover is easily removable for inspection and maintenance.
  • Acoustic self-extinguishing foam lining for sound attenuation.
  • IPX4 protection degree.
  • Modern design ceiling diffuser made of high-quality ABS technopolymer.
  • Supplied with 2.5m flexible duct to connect ventilation unit and diffuser.

Modes of Operation

At the time of installation, the unit can be configured with the following modes of operation:

  • Single-Speed
  • Two-speed operation via remote switch (not supplied).
  • High-speed override via a remote switch or ambient sensor; available here: AERAULIQA HUMIDITY SENSOR.
